COURSE DESCRIPTION
Statistics and probability involves the important work of gathering data and interpreting patterns. This course will explore how digital and physical manipulatives such as spinners and cubes can support student understanding of probability in Grades 6-8. We will explore hands-on activities to replicate chance processes and test probability models. You will learn how to implement engaging tasks that invite students to design experiments and evaluate a probability model compared to observed frequencies.
