Connecting Engineering in Science

In this mini-course you will be equipped with the knowledge and tools to effectively implement engineering practices and activities into your science class. This will be done through exploration and comparison of NGSS standards and the engineering and design process. By the end of this course you will have an understanding of how science and engineering are related and can build upon each other in a classroom setting. You will also be able to apply both of these disciplines in lessons and activities. Use of engineering practices in a science class allows for a deeper understanding of concepts and increased student participation.
